Compound Part

Last updated: August 11, 2020

A compound part is a combination of two or more forms or elements that are grouped together and placed simultaneously. The application of compound parts during modeling can save a considerable amount of time in the placement of forms.

A compound part can contain up to eight individual subparts, assembled to enable placement as a single object. Before creating compound part, all subparts must exist before creation takes place. There are a number of standard compound parts delivered with Building applications, both Imperial and Metric.
